Abbigail Rinard, BS
Abbigail Rinard is a mental health counseling student intern and Graduate Assistant who works with child, teens and adults to manage anxiety, build healthy family communication skills and supports grief, loss and trauma.
Abbigail believes that a healthy outcome is within reach. She has extensive training in incorporating horses, art, play and games into therapy services with children, teens and adults. During her weekly supervision, she is able to gain advanced understanding on Best Practice techniques to incorporate with her clients.
Abbigail is completing a dual internship at Berger Counseling Services and Tomorrow’s Rainbow. There, she has supporting teens dealing with the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting and working with individuals to find their purpose, passion and healthy future self.
Abbigail is an Assisting Managing Editor for the Journal of Individual Psychology, went to Germany to helped present on a joint paper on the use of drumming and psychology, and works at Rising Tide Carwash with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Abbigail holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Westminster College and is currently enrolled in her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University.
