Abby Mosher, Eagala Certified

Abby Mosher is the Founder and Executive Director of Tomorrow’s Rainbow, Inc. and has worked with Berger Counseling Services since 2010.  She is a pioneer in combining the therapeutic benefits of horses with facilitated peer support groups providing a highly effective, comprehensive and innovative approach to children’s grief support.

Ms. Mosher studied at the renowned  Dougy  Center  in  Portland, Oregon and is certified by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association.  She has trained with the National Organization for Victim’s Assistance and holds a certificate from the Florida Crisis Response Team.  Ms. Mosher has dedicated her adult years to child advocacy receiving the School Board of Broward County’s Crystal Apple Community Award in 2000.  In 2008 she was honored with the Silver Medallion Award from One Community, a humanitarian award which recognized her work in promoting a diverse, inclusive community.  Ms. Mosher was honored by Bank of America through their Neighborhood Excellence Initiative where she received the 2009 Local Hero Award and was recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in Broward County in 2010, 2011 and 2012.  In 2010, under her leadership, Volunteer Broward selected Tomorrow's Rainbow as the Agency of the Year, and most recently, Ms. Mosher was selected by the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business Person of the Year while Tomorrow's Rainbow was selected as the Small Business of the Year in the nonprofit category.  In 2016, the Mental Health Association acknowledged Abby Mosher with an EPIC Award - Exceptional Person Impacting the Community.

Ms. Mosher founded Tomorrow’s Rainbow after her own personal tragedy identified the lack of grief support available for children and their families that had experienced the death of a loved one.  With her trademark drive, determination, and dedication to all children, she created Tomorrow’s Rainbow, an oasis for bereaved children in our community.
