This workshop is a hands-on, experiential learning process to build on Sandtray skills, metaphors and techniques.  Therapists will leave with sandtray activities to incorporate with their clientele that will aid in with a variety of presenting  concerns, ages and situations.  This workshop will expand on learned skills and build a foundation of documentation requirements. Ethical considerations, diversity and limitations will also be explored.

Participants should be able to:

• Identify ways to incorporate Sandtray Therapy into Child-Centered and Directive Play Therapy Models

• Describe at least two sandtray therapy activities to incorporate into services with children, teens and adults

• Demonstrate how to document metaphors, themes and issues in notes

• Define Reflection, expanding the metaphor and other processing methods by the end of the workshop
