Anxiety Avengers Group

Our high school group is designed to help teens who would like to learn anxiety reduction skills in an interactive, experiential setting through art, games and sandtray.  The groups are small, registration is limited to 6 participants. Teens will be able to create, learn and grow in a safe, judgement free environment.  Group meets for 6 consecutive Thursdays (skipping July 4th) starting June 20th for 90 minutes each week. Each week will focus on teaching a new skills through a hands-on, art, games and sandtray activities.  No prior experience required and no boring lectures!  Group is led by Valery Hidalgo, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. 

Group is open to any teens in high school up to age 17 who are interested in learning how to reduce anxiety, find their voice and build healthy life-skills.   A flat rate of $300 is required to register for the 6-week sessions.   Sessions will occur on June 20th, 27th, (skip July 4th), July 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st.  Dates and times subject to change. 

By completing the pre-registration, we will contact you for a brief intake phone call.  If we are a good fit for you, registration paperwork will be sent for signature and the fee of $300 to be paid.  Registration will not be confirmed until the full registration and payment is completed.

If less than 5 participants are registered one week from start date, the group may be rescheduled to another time.  Full refunds will be provided if requested in writing 30 days prior to the start date, after which a 50% refund will be provided.
