Building Bridges: Expanding Metaphor, Themes & Processing In Therapy

We know the basics - tracking, reflection, metacommunicating...but how come we keep asking questions and getting stuck in talk to clients? Because the basics of play therapy are actually the opposite of what we're trained to do! Learning how to fully integrate these skills takes time and effort. This workshop will be a hands-on, experiential time to practice, role-play and build your clinical skills in a fun, play therapy office.  During this workshop we'll break down to common misconceptions about non-directive, child-centered play therapy skills, including what reflection, tracking and metacommunicating actually look and sound like.
