About this Event

Covid-19 has changed many of our lives, including the way we provide services.  Telehealth has brought us into our client's homes and lives. We have had to create a whole new toolbox of art, play and sandtray activities to help children, teens and adults manage.  Like many clincians, your well may have run dry for ideas.  This webinar will serve as a guide for play therapists to infuse their practice with art, play and sandtray activities that will aid in with a variety of presenting concerns, ages and situations.  Play Therapists will be able to incorporate learned skills into their clinical approach and techniques into in person and online telehealth services. Ethical considerations, diversity and limitations will also be explored.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe at least two art, play and sandtray activities to incorporate into trauma-informed services with young children.
  2. Identify cultural considerations with play and art therapy techniques unique to telehealth.
  3. Demonstrate how to link activities to client's goals and outcomes.

Limited to 40 participants. Your spot will not be guaranteed without completion of registration with payment.

VIRTUAL: This  will be a  virtual meeting. Participants must be visible (video on) throughout the  presentation and will be awarded CONTACT CE upon successful completion  of a post test.
