About The Event
You have the basics of being a supervisor - but what next? We love supporting the next generation of play therapists and clinicians, however we often struggle with what comes hand-in-hand with supervising. Ethical conundrums, counter-transference, vicarious trauma all build up and can be overwhelming. Play therapy and clinical supervision demand a long-term investment in both supervisee and supervisor - but what if there are bumpy times or conflict? This workshop will be a hands-on, experiential time to build your supervisory skills while doing a deep dive into self-care and grounding yourself in a fun, art and play therapy office. During this workshop we'll work on building healthy skills to manage the stressors of clinical and play therapy supervision using art, play and sandtray experientials.
