About The Event
Exploring cultural and social diversity requires that we understand our own lens that we see and experience the world through. This hands-on, experiential workshop will take participants through activities to better understand their own beliefs, biases and background. This workshop will provide 6 CONTACT OR LIVE WEBINAR APT CE's (6 Cultural & Social Diversity CE's) 6 NBCC Hours and 6 FL LMHC, LMFT & LCSW CEU's.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Define Culture & Social Diversity
Identify common biases and how they show up in the play therapy room
Engage in role-play and practicing of skills to build competence
Explore personal beliefs and background within the context of becoming a more culturally humble play therapy clinician
