About The Event
Ever wonder how play therapy can incorporate the great outdoors? We're surrounded by flora & fauna, but it can feel intimidating to add our natural resources into our play therapy services. This workshop is a hands-on, experiential way to incorporate nature play therapy into your services with all ages. Learn how to expand the conversation through reflection, process issues through the powers of play and bring your authentic, playful self into your outdoor setting. Therapists will leave with nature play activities to incorporate with their clientele that will aid in with a variety of presenting concerns, ages and situations. Therapists will be able to incorporate learned skills into their clinical approach and techniques into in person and online telehealth services. Ethical considerations, diversity and limitations will also be explored.
