Knowing what to say and do in therapy can be TOUGH! Learn how speak your client's language using the Clean Language Approach.  Increase interactions, processing and metaphor by following their lead! This workshop will provide a basic overview of the Clean Language Approach and how to incorporate into art, play, sandtray and other experiential therapy techniques to increase metaphor and insight. This workshop is relevant to clinicians working with children, teens and adults. This webinar will serve as a guide for play therapists to infuse  their practice with art, play and sandtray activities that will aid in  with a variety of presenting concerns, ages and situations.  Play  Therapists will be able to incorporate learned skills into their  clinical approach and techniques into in person and online telehealth  services. Ethical considerations, diversity and limitations will also be  explored.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
•Define Clean Language and how it relates to metaphor growth in therapy practices
•Incorporate Clean Language into at least three Art and Play Therapy techniques for hard to reach children and teens
•Demonstrate how following the client's lead deepens metaphor and change
