Lego-Based Social Skills Group

Our Lego-Based Social Skills Group is designed for 8-12 year olds who would like to learn, play and grow in a fun, interactive way!  The groups are small, registration is limited to 6 participants.  Social Skills, Social-Emotional Techniques and Regulation Strategies will be discussed through Lego activities.  Participants will be able to keep what they make to ensure they continue to use the skills learn at home, school and with friends.  Group meets for 6 consecutive Mondays starting July 1st for 90 minutes each week. Each week will focus on teaching a new skills through a hands-on, Lego activities.  No boring lectures!  Group is led by Marla Berger, Registered Art Therapist, Registered Play Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

Group is open to any 8-12 year olds interested in learning how to incorporate social skills, social-emotional learning and regulation techniques.   A flat rate of $300 is required to register for the 6-week sessions.   Sessions will occur on July 1st, July 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and August 5th.  Dates and times subject to change. 

By completing the pre-registration, we will contact you for a brief intake phone call.  If we are a good fit for you, registration paperwork will be sent for signature and the fee of $300 to be paid.  Registration will not be confirmed until the full registration and payment is completed.

If less than 5 participants are registered one week from start date, the group may be rescheduled to another time.  Full refunds will be provided if requested in writing 30 days prior to the start date, after which a 50% refund will be provided.
