About this Event
Back to school is an exciting a joyful time for most students...but often not for our anxious and worried children and teens. Many have have struggled through the ups and downs of virtual or in-person school, Covid and school culture. Now with the start of school coming up, therapists, play therapists, counselors and social workers need to plan ahead to minimize the impact of going back to school. This webinar will serve as a guide for therapists to infuse their practice with art, play and sandtray activities that will support anxious and worried chidlren and teens. Therapists will be able to incorporate learned skills into their clinical approach and techniques into in person and online telehealth services. Ethical considerations, diversity and limitations will also be explored.
