Sandtray Therapy 2.0 - Advanced Techniques

You've got the sand, figures and the basics....but now what??!!  Sandtray 2.0 will help deepen your understanding of how to incorporate sandtray therapy into your play therapy services.  Learn through doing in this hands-on, experiential workshop in a real sandtray therapy space! This workshop is a hands-on, experiential learning process to build on Sandtray skills, metaphors and techniques.  Therapists will leave with sandtray activities to incorporate with their clientele that will aid in with a variety of presenting  concerns, ages and situations.  This workshop will expand on learned skills and build a foundation of documentation requirements. Ethical considerations, diversity and limitations will also be explored.

Participants should be able to:

• Identify ways to incorporate Sandtray Therapy into Child-Centered and Directive Play Therapy Models
• Describe at least two sandtray therapy activities to incorporate into services with children, teens and adults
• Demonstrate how to document metaphors, themes and issues in notes
• Define Reflection, expanding the metaphor and other processing methods by the end of the workshop
• Utilize effectively at least three processing methods by the end of the workshop
• Demonstrate how to link sandtray activities to client's goals and outcomes

This workshop will be located at Berger Counseling Services' office in Coral Springs and limited to 15 participants.

LIVE: This  will be a  LIVE, in-person workshop. Participants must attend the entire presentation and will be awarded CONTACT CE's. Approved by APT for 6 CONTACT Skills and Methods CE Hours & Florida  LMHC, LMFT & LCSW CEU's.

Requests made after will receive 50% refund or transfer to a later workshop.  Substitutions (someone else attending) or transfer of registration to  another training date may be  requested.  All attendees who are not able to attend live will be provided credits for on-demand workshop for 6 NON-CONTACT CE's.
