About The Event
Supervisors are the building blocks for creating the next generation of counselors, play therapists and art therapists...but how do we know what's REALLY going on in session? Let's learn how to assess and build skills in interns and consultees. This workshop will be a hands-on, experiential time to practice, role-play and build your supervisory skills in a fun, art and play therapy office. During this workshop we'll work on case conceptualization using art, play and sandtray experientials. We will explore participants' comfort on challenging, scaffolding and assessing skills. This HYBRID workshop will provide 6 CONTACT or LIVE WEBINAR NON-CONTACT APT CE's (6 Supervision), 6 NBCC Hours and 6 FL LMHC, LMFT & LCSW CEU's.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Identify ethical considerations of supervision and consultation
Define how to assess for clinical skills in supervision
