Morgan DeGilio, LMHC, ATR-BC  (she/her)

 

Morgan is a dedicated psychotherapist and Board Certified Art Therapist who currently practices in the state of Florida. She earned her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Caldwell University. Morgan specializes in providing support to individuals who are struggling with unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, and various other life stressors.

 

In therapy, Morgan will help identify negative thoughts and beliefs that keep you stuck in emotions or unhelpful behaviors. Together, you'll explore their origins and develop strategies to challenge and reframe them, leading to positive change and improved well-being.  Morgan is deeply committed to promoting cultural competency, advocating for racial/sexual equity, and challenging oppressive systems. She strives to understand each client in the context of their unique culture, sexual identity, racial identity, age, gender, and religion. Morgan integrates Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Art Therapy.

 

Morgan has worked in diverse settings, including pediatrics, inpatient psychiatry, rehab centers, and outpatient facilities. Morgan has extensive experience in art therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Her experience in suicide prevention, treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, emotional regulation issues and much more through incorporating play and art therapy. She is skilled in providing therapy to individuals across the lifespan, both in person and via telehealth. Morgan is committed to supporting her clients in their journey towards healing and personal growth.

 

Morgan prioritizes her client relationships and their well-being. She believes therapy can be both a positive and a creative outlet to discover yourself. Morgan creates a secure and nurturing environment where clients can freely express themselves, explore suppressed emotions, and embark on their unique path towards growth and positive change.  Offering both in-person and telehealth sessions in Florida.
